I'm away next week but when I get back I will phone my GP's surgery to find out. Husband several years ago had pneumonia really bad, ended up in hospital so it might be a good idea for him to have it anyway. Will post what the outcome is.
For all of you who are having problems getting your flu jab I have done some googling and found the following from NHS Choice website.
Everyone with a long-term condition, such as rheumatoid arthritis, is encouraged to get a yearly flu jab each autumn to protect against flu. They are also recommended to get a pneumoccocal vaccination. This is a one-off injection that protects against a serious chest infection called pneumococcal pneumonia.
